Amit Kharsani is a multi-faceted calligrapher, graphic designer and design educator. Associated closely with the National Institute of Design (NID) since 1978, Amit also teaches programs at NIFT,CEPT, DA-IICT, MICA and other reputed design and communication schools across India. He trained in calligraphy under the renowned calligrapher Late Shri R K Joshi. Currently, Amit is working as a consultant graphic designer and faculty at NID.

hello amit…this is mansvini and I am a TEXTILE DESIGNER by profession and right now working on a project on ISLAMIC ART IN INDIA..currently I am working on CALLIGRAPHY and have gathered quite a good amount of info on history and elaborated stuff on it.I feel I can add on the URBANISATION of CALLIGRAPHY too.wil you be interested in sharing any kind of info on this.I will be glad.
