Yo Sato is a Japanese Journalist and Visual Artist living in Delhi. Before coming to Delhi, she worked as a lecturer of media arts and as a digital contents producer in Tokyo. The cultural back bones of her work are Manga, SF Animation, Sub cultures and Trip. I’ve been describing “the fantasy” of this world using cross media tools. Her work on display titled ‘Planet India’ is a study in recognizing some basic questions : “What is REAL?” and “What is FANTASY?” The work consists of several canvas and one movie showing images/phrases which the artist gathered in her daily life in India. This is also a preceding work for publishing a book with the same title in Japan.
